2010 NISSAN SPORTS CARS

Nissan’s potential pair of iconic sports cars continues to grab headlines for the 2010 model year with the early introduction (March 2009) of the revised GT-R and the ongoing expansion of the Nissan Z® stable.

After winning near universal acclaim in its rookie year, including being named Motor Trend “2009 Car of the Year,” Automobile magazine’s 2009 “Automobile of the Year” and winning a Kelly Blue Book’s kbb.com “2009 Best Resale Value Award,” the GT-R supercar gains five additional horsepower for 2010, along with standard front seat-mounted and roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags.

The all-new 370Z Roadster joins the GT-R, the all-new-for-2009 370Z Coupe and newly introduced 2009 NISMO 370Z in late summer – creating a veritable “fantastic four” of affordable, high-performance sports cars. Details on each vehicle follow.

2010 Nissan GT-R
After completely changing the paradigm of supercar design and performance in its first year of availability in North America, the affordable, “anyone, anytime, anywhere” Nissan GT-R returns for its sophomore year with an enhanced 2010 model featuring a number of small yet important updates – including five additional horsepower, a revised suspension, revised wheel finishes and standard front seat-mounted and roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags.

The 2010 Nissan GT-R is available now through nearly 700 official “GT-R certified” Nissan dealers across the United States. The names and locations of local GT-R Certified Nissan dealers are available to consumers on NissanUSA.com.

Revisions for 2010 include:

• 5 additional horsepower, raising the horsepower rating of the GT-R’s 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 engine to 485 hp (from 480 hp)
• New Transmission Control Module (TCM) programming for the high-performance 6-speed dual-clutch transmission – designed to optimize clutch engagement for improved drivability and improve vehicle acceleration with the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) on (activated) 
• Updated braking system, with more rigid brake lines for improved durability and the brake calipers now carry both the Brembo and Nissan logos
• Suspension retuned with redesigned Bilstein® shocks with a new valve body design and revised spring and damper rates
• Revised wheel color (slightly darker high-luster smoke finish) for the base GT-R’s 20-inch RAYS forged aluminum-alloy wheels
• New near-black metallic wheel finish for the GT-R Premium model (the smoke wheel finish comes with the Cold Package)
• One new color, Pearl White, is offered and the Super Silver exterior color has been enhanced and now includes a polished front bumper

2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster
The all-new 2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster joined the 370Z Coupe and new NISMO 370Z in Nissan showrooms nationwide in September 2009. The Z® Roadster, like the Z® Coupe, offers an unmatched balance of dynamic performance, sculptured styling, innovative technology and exceptional value.

Based on the current generation 370Z Coupe (introduced in January 2009), the Z® Roadster shares its engine, transmissions, suspension, platform and most major components with the popular and exceptionally well-reviewed Z® Coupe. The list of cutting edge technology includes the standard 332-horsepower 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift Control (VVEL), choice of 7-speed automatic transmission or close-ratio 6-speed manual with available SynchroRev Match™ (the world’s first synchronized downshift rev matching manual transmission), refined 4-wheel independent suspension, 4-wheel vented disc brakes (with available Nissan Sport Brakes) and lightweight yet rigid body structure.

2010 Nissan NISMO 370Z
The all-new, second generation NISMO Z®, which went on sale in June 2009, offers unique performance and design attributes that true sports car enthusiasts are looking for – straight from the factory. The NISMO 370Z features 350 horsepower and 276 lb-ft of torque, racing-inspired exterior and interior styling, a specially tuned suspension and special super-lightweight forged alloy wheels.

The NISMO 370Z’s standard 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift Control (VVEL) combines with a refined 4-wheel independent suspension and advanced FM (Front Midship) platform to offer responsive performance and handling. The NISMO Z®’s exclusive H-configured exhaust system design, muffler tuning and optimized ECM (Engine Computer Module) control help provide responsive upper end power.

As expected of a true performance machine, the NISMO 370Z is offered with only one transmission – a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission with standard “SynchroRev Match,” the world’s first synchronized downshift rev matching manual transmission (which allows perfectly matched heel-toe-like downshifting).

The NISMO 370Z also features a NISMO-branded strut tower brace for enhanced body rigidity and a pair of performance dampers to manage road-input vibrations and help contribute to the NISMO 370Z’s high levels of stability and performance feel. The NISMO-tuned suspension includes special springs and stabilizer bars. Unique 5-spoke 19-inch RAYS forged aluminum-alloy wheels are mounted with Yokohama ADVAN Sport Y-rated high-performance tires. Nissan Sport Brakes and a Viscous Limited-Slip Differential (VLSD) are also standard on all NISMO 370Zs.

Along with its standout performance, the new NISMO Z® stands out from the crowd with its dramatic performance-oriented exterior and interior. The functional and fully integrated aerodynamic body pieces include an extended front nose with a canard design at each corner for improved downforce and a fully integrated chin spoiler. Special side sills and a unique rear bumper help control airflow under the vehicle, while the functional rear spoiler also increases downforce.

The interior includes NISMO logo seats with black and red fabric and red stitching, a NISMO tachometer, steering wheel with smooth leather and red parallel stitching, smooth leather-wrapped shift knob and aluminum trimmed pedals. A serialized plaque of authenticity is also matched to each NISMO Z®, identifying its unique serial and model year designation. There are no changes for the 2010 NISMO 370Z from the 2009 model.

2010 Nissan 370Z Coupe
Forty years after the arrival of the original Datsun 240Z, the Z® remains one of the best-selling sports cars in North America, as well as one of the best performance values. Following the total redesign of the iconic Z® for the 2009 model year, the changes for the 2010 370Z include an enhanced navigation system, the addition of heated mirrors and in-cabin microfilter, one new exterior color (Black Cherry) and a limited edition 40th Anniversary Package with unique content and an exclusive exterior/interior color combination.

Available in spring 2010, the 40th Anniversary Package includes unique red leather-appointed seats and red door panel inserts; 40th Anniversary seatback embroidery, floor mats, car cover and exterior badging; premium smoke finish wheels and red brake caliper finish; and an exclusive “40th Quartz” exterior paint color. The 40th Anniversary Package is offered only on the 370Z Touring MT model.

The 370Z’s enhanced Nissan Navigation Package includes XM NavTraffic® Real-Time Traffic Information (XM® subscription required, sold separately), Bluetooth® Streaming Audio and automatic phonebook download (select phones), 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive and a Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System. 2010 NISSAN SEDANS/COUPE

From the seductively styled Altima Coupe to the iconic cubic geometry of the new Nissan cube®, Nissan offers an extensive range of high-value vehicles again in 2010. 2010 Nissan Maxima
The popular Nissan Maxima enters the second year of its seventh-generation design in 2010 with two new exterior colors and fine-tuning of available option packages. The “four-door sports car” is again offered in two well-equipped models – Maxima 3.5 S and Maxima 3.5 SV – each featuring a standard 290-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve VQ-series V6 engine and Xtronic CVT™ with manual and “Ds” (drive sport) modes and available paddle shifters.

2010 Nissan Altima Sedan

2010 Nissan Altima Coupe
The sporty, 2-door Nissan Altima Coupe enters its third year of production in 2010, once again offering a high-value, high-style coupe for Altima customers seeking a more personal expression of individuality and fashionable appearance.

The Altima Coupe’s unique exterior design is intended to stand out in a crowd of sedan-based two-door models with magnetic, perfectly proportioned styling with a shorter wheelbase, shorter overall length and lower height than the Altima Sedan. The smaller size and lighter overall weight also contribute to the Coupe’s sportier driving feel – a desired attribute of the typically younger, more performance-oriented coupe buyer.

The 2010 Altima Coupe is available with a choice of the award-winning VQ-series 3.5-liter V6 or powerful 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engines, each offered with either a 6-speed manual transmission or Nissan’s advanced Xtronic CVT™ (Continuously Variable Transmission).

2010 Nissan Altima Hybrid
The Altima Hybrid, which joined the Nissan lineup in the 2007 model year, continues to offer the efficiency and fuel economy of a hybrid drivetrain with the performance and excitement typical of any Altima.

The Altima Hybrid powertrain mates a specialized version of Nissan’s QR25 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and standard electronically controlled CVT with an advanced electric drive motor/generator. This combination increases fuel economy while maintaining low tailpipe emissions, earning Altima Hybrid a Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) rating.

For the 2010 model year, the Altima Hybrid offers a revised front end appearance, new 16-inch wheel design, revised option package content, refined interior fabric and finishers and one new exterior color. It is on sale now.

2010 Nissan Sentra
The Nissan Sentra continues to build on its reputation as a stylish compact sedan with roominess and amenities, responsive, fun-to-drive performance and unexpected versatility. For 2010, Sentra receives a number of model, option and content changes, including the separation of leather seating into an optional package on the Sentra 2.0 SL model and the addition of new Technology and Navigation Packages for this model. In addition, the Convenience Package is added as an option for the 2.0 SR model.

The Sentra SE-R Spec V is available with a new Upgrade Package with moonroof, Helical Limited Slip Differential, a 340-watt Rockford Fosgate audio system, RearView Monitor and more, as well as an optional Navigation Package. The Sentra 2.0 SL, SE-R and SE-R Spec V add standard Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control System (TCS).

Other changes include revised headlights and taillights for all models and a new grille and front fascia for 2.0, 2.0 S and 2.0 SL models. Wheel designs have been revised for 2010, with new 16-inch wheel covers (2.0 S), new 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels (2.0 SL) and new 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheel color (SE-R and SE-R Spec V). Inside, Sentra offers revised cloth and door trim and the instrument panel accents and illumination have been changed. Three new exterior colors are also offered for 2010.

For 2010, Sentra is offered in six models – Sentra 2.0, 2.0 S, 2.0 SR (with sporty exterior and interior styling features), 2.0 SL and the performance-oriented Sentra SE-R and SE-R Spec V. Sentra 2.0 models feature a standard 140-horsepower 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, 6-speed manual transmission or fuel-efficient Nissan Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission). Sentra SE-R is equipped with a 177-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder with a 6speed manual transmission and SE-R Spec V offers a potent 200-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder and Xtronic CVT.

SE-R and SE-R Spec V models also include unique sporty exterior and interior designs and exclusive wheel/tire offerings. Sentra is also available with a range of unexpected amenities – ranging from the luxury of heated leather-appointed seating to the convenience of Nissan’s Intelligent Key keyless entry system.

2010 Nissan Versa
The Nissan Versa continues its strong appeal in the marketplace among buyers seeking fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance or roominess. Versa again features one of the highest standard horsepower/torque ratings and the largest interior in the entry-level segment – along with offering one of the lowest priced new vehicles available in the United States, the high-value Versa Sedan 1.6 model with 5-speed manual transmission.

The front-wheel drive Versa is available in two body styles, a 5-door hatchback and 4-door sedan. Versa Hatchback and Versa Sedan models are offered with a long list of standard and available equipment, including available Nissan Intelligent Key™, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and an audio system with Clarion speakers and Rockford Fosgate-powered subwoofer.

The 2010 Nissan Versa, which is on sale now, features a number of refinements, including a new grille design, new sport front and rear fascias, body side sills, fog lights and rear spoiler for Versa Hatchback SL models, new wheel treatments and revised interior fabrics and finishers. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is now standard for 1.8 S models, along with standard ABS and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) for 1.8 SL models.

The 2010 Nissan Versa is available in four models: Versa Sedan 1.6 Base and Versa Sedan 1.6 with 107-horsepower 1.6-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine and 5-speed manual transmission; and Versa Hatchback and Sedan 1.8 S and 1.8 SL with 122-horsepower 1.8-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine and choice of 6-speed manual, 4-speed automatic or Xtronic CVT™ transmission (CVT available on Versa Hatchback 1.8 SL only).

Revisions for 2010 include:

2010 Nissan cube®
The cleverly designed Nissan cube®, with its asymmetrical rear window, refrigerator-style rear door and wide range of personal accessories, enters its second year of production in 2010 with its unique style firmly intact – plus a number of enhancements to its audio and entertainment systems and one new exterior color, Sapphire Black. The 2010 Nissan cube is available in three well-equipped models: cube 1.8, cube 1.8 S and cube 1.8 SL and in a special cube 1.8 Kr?m™ Edition.

For 2010, the Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, leather-wrapped steering wheel and steering wheel audio controls are now standard for cube S and SL models; the Interface System for iPod®, MP3 CD-ROM playback capacity, Radio Data System (RDS), speed-sensitive volume control (SSV) and two additional speakers (six total) are now standard on cube S models.

The cube Krom Edition adds a new 4.3-inch color audio display with USB connectivity and RearView Monitor, along with Nissan Intelligent Key™ with Push Button Ignition as standard equipment. In addition, the 4.3-inch color audio display with USB connectivity and RearView Monitor is added to the optional SL Preferred Package.

The front-wheel drive cube is built on Nissan’s proven B-platform and is offered with a standard 122-horsepower 1.8-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine and a choice of Nissan’s advanced, smooth shifting Xtronic CVT™ (Continuously Variable Transmission) or 6-speed manual transmission.

Available cube® technology includes the Nissan Intelligent Key™ with Push Button Ignition, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, Rockford Fosgate subwoofer with six upgraded speakers, XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and Interface System for iPod®.

More than 40 individual accessories are offered – ranging from a unique 20-color interior accent lighting kit and “shag dash topper” inserts to aerodynamic body kits and custom wheels – allowing cube® owners to personalize their vehicles to reflect their own tastes and needs.

2010 NISSAN SUVS AND TRUCKS

Along with its extensive range of sports cars and sedans, Nissan again offers a wide portfolio of trucks and SUVs – Murano, Armada, Pathfinder, Xterra, Rogue, Titan and Frontier. Details on the changes and refinements for each vehicle follow.

2010 Nissan Murano
The second generation Murano, introduced as a 2009 model, combines visually distinctive styling, a “mobile suite” interior design, advanced technology and a refined, premium driving feel – creating a modern crossover SUV like no other.

All 2010 Muranos feature a VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6 rated at 265 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque and an advanced Xtronic CVT™ that provides a sporty and smooth driving experience. Murano is available in front-wheel drive or with an Intuitive All-Wheel Drive system, and all Muranos come standard with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with a Traction Control System (TCS) for all-weather confidence.

Standard or available technology includes Nissan Intelligent Key™ with Push Button Start, Interface System for iPod®, 11-speaker Bose® premium audio system, an advanced touch screen navigation system with 9.3GB Music Box™ hard drive, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System.

For the 2010 model year, changes to Murano are relatively minor. It is available in six models: Murano S FWD, Murano S AWD, Murano SL FWD, Murano SL AWD, Murano LE FWD (new for 2010) and Murano LE AWD. It is on sale now.

2010 Nissan Armada
The stylish, powerful and roomy Nissan Armada enters the 2010 model year with a revised model lineup, which now features three well-equipped models: the Armada SE and two special editions, the Armada Titanium Edition and Armada Platinum Edition.

All three models are equipped with a 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine rated at 317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque, along with an advanced 5-speed automatic transmission, heavy-duty fully boxed ladder frame and comfortable double-wishbone suspension. Available options include Moonroof and DVD Family Entertainment System.

The Armada Titanium Edition includes a full array of standard comfort and convenience features, including Nissan Intelligent Key™, leather-appointed seating, RearView Monitor, Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System, premium Bose® audio system with 11 speakers, power-folding 60/40-split 3rd row seat and auto-leveling rear air suspension.

The Armada Platinum Edition adds heated front seats and steering wheel, power rear liftgate, moonroof, DVD Family Entertainment System and Nissan Navigation system with XM NavTraffic® system with real-time traffic information (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive.

Other changes for 2010 include new two-piece body-color side moldings with chrome strip treatment, chrome roof rails and contrasting interior stitching for the Titanium and Platinum models, revised available wood grain finisher appearance, the addition of standard front seat side-impact supplemental air bags for the SE 4x2 model and three new exterior colors.

The 2010 Nissan Armada is offered in two-wheel and four-wheel drive and with available Flexible Fuel Vehicle (FFV) technology, which allows drivers to use traditional gasoline or an alternative fuel such as E85. The 2010 Armada has a towing capacity of up to 9,100 pounds (when properly equipped). The 2010 Nissan Armada is available now at Nissan retailers nationwide.

Revisions for 2010 include:

• Two new models – Armada Titanium Edition and Armada Platinum Edition (replacing the previous Armada LE model)
• Revised content of the Driver’s Package, Family Entertainment System Package, new SE Tow Package added

2010 Nissan Pathfinder
The popular three-row Nissan Pathfinder SUV again combines first-class amenities with rugged family adventure capabilities for the 2010 model year. Along with a choice of V6 or V8 engines and 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive, the refined Pathfinder interior offers a range of amenities, including available leather-appointed seating, heated steering wheel, Nissan Intelligent Key™ with twist start, Nissan Navigation System with 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and RearView Monitor.

Pathfinder’s 5.6-liter DOHC V8 engine is rated at 310 horsepower and 388 lb-ft of torque, which helps it to achieve 7,000 lbs of maximum towing capacity. Also available is Pathfinder’s proven 266-horsepower 4.0-liter version of the award-winning Nissan VQ-series V6 engine. All Pathfinders continue to be built on a high-strength, fully boxed, all-steel frame based on the full-size Nissan Armada SUV.

The 2010 Nissan Pathfinder is available in four models: Pathfinder S V6, Pathfinder SE V6, Pathfinder LE V6 and Pathfinder LE V8 (4x4 only). It is on sale now.

2010 Nissan Xterra
Following an extensive list of enhancements and revisions for the last model year, the tough, essential Nissan Xterra enters 2010 relatively unchanged. For 2010, Xterra is again available in four well-equipped models – X, S, Off-Road and SE – making it easier for buyers to determine the exact Xterra model for their particular needs and lifestyles.

All Xterra models feature an advanced 4.0-liter DOHC V6 engine, rated at 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque, along with a rugged “F-Alpha” truck platform for adventure-ready performance. The “F-Alpha” platform is shared with the full-size Nissan Titan pickup and Armada SUV. Xterra is available with a choice of 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmissions and in a choice of part-time 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive.

Xterra again features a distinct “multi-flex” interior with an abundance of useable space, storage and convenience features – including an available Easy Clean cargo area, a tie-down channel system, 10 cargo hooks and an available built-in first-aid kit. While maintaining its “authentic” tough gear positioning, the 2010 Xterra also offers a range of advanced technologies, including Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and an 8-speaker Rockford Fosgate audio system with subwoofer.

2010 Nissan Rogue
The Nissan Rogue crossover SUV continues to satisfy both the functional needs of the buyers and their emotional needs – including the versatility provided by a large 58 cubic feet of cargo space. Again in 2010, Rogue is available in two models, Rogue S and Rogue SL, each with a standard 170-horsepower (167-hp CAL emissions) 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, Nissan’s advanced Xtronic CVT™ (Continuously Variable Transmission), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). Both S and SL models are available with an intuitive All-Wheel Drive system. Rogue SL models include standard 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.

Rogue’s interior includes a driver-oriented cockpit, available leather-appointed seating surfaces, heated seats and 6-way power driver’s seat. Utility is enhanced by numerous convenient storage and ultra-functionality features, including an oversized glove compartment, a large center console and an innovative rear cargo organizer. Available technology features include Nissan Intelligent Key™, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and a powerful Bose®–developed audio system with AUX input and MP3 playback.

2010 Nissan Titan
The Nissan Titan full-size pickup continues to build on its reputation as rugged, reliable, spirited choice for active truck buyers seeking style, innovation and excellent value. Changes for the 2010 model year include revised equipment packages and content – including a new SE Value Truck Package with cloth captain’s chairs, tow hitch, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, fog lights and more offered at a substantial savings (versus purchased separately); standard side curtain air bags and Vehicle Dynamic Control; standard Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS) on all models; and two new exterior colors.

The 2010 Titan is offered in King Cab and Crew Cab body styles with a choice of 4x4 and 4x2 drive configurations, along with two wheelbases (138.9 inches and 159.5 inches) and three bed lengths. Titan is once again available in four well-equipped models – XE, SE, PRO-4X and LE. Titan is also available as a Flexible Fuel Vehicle (FFV) designed to run on E85 Ethanol.

Titan is built on Nissan’s rugged F-Alpha pickup platform, featuring a powerful 5.6-liter DOHC Endurance V8 rated at 317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft torque. Titan features a standard 5-speed automatic transmission and a maximum towing capacity of up to 9,500 pounds for King Cab and 9,400 pounds for Crew Cab (when properly equipped). 2010 Nissan Frontier
The Nissan Frontier, a no-compromise pickup forged with premium hardware, extraordinary power and off-road athleticism, continues to be a leader in the mid-size truck segment. Updated just last year with a new front fascia, grille and headlight design and new machine-finished 16-inch wheels (PRO-4X) and new 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels (LE), the changes for 2010 are limited to upgraded standard safety and security equipment and one new exterior color.

Frontier continues to offer an exceptional level of on- and off-road performance with the use of a 4.0-liter DOHC V6 engine with horsepower, torque, towing and payload specifications that are second-to-none in the mid-size truck class. A 152-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine is also available (King Cab only). With its strong performance, combined with good fuel mileage (17 city, 21 highway, King Cab 2WD), the Frontier is a fitting truck for work or play. Frontier is offered in both King Cab and Crew Cab body styles and in 4x2 and 4x4 driveline configurations. The 2010 Frontier is on sale now.

Revisions for 2010 include:

• Standard side and curtain air bags on all models (4-cylinder and V6-equipped models)

Nissan Quest
The 2009 Nissan Quest is currently available at Nissan retailers nationwide. This will be the final year of production on this generation of Quest. As previously announced, the next generation Quest will be built in Kyushu, Japan and production at the Canton, Miss., plant where Quest was built will shift to Commercial Vehicles. Specific details about the next-generation Quest’s features, start of production and date of availability at Nissan retailers will be disclosed closer to the vehicle’s launch.
